Ascend past Manali through the Atal Tunnel into Lahaul Valley to Darcha basecamp. Essential cold-weather mechanical calibration and safety drills.

Shinku La, Gonbo Rangjon & Padum Heartland

Cross the steep gravel switchbacks of Shinku La (16,703 ft). Set luxury wilderness camps under the towering, sacred rock face of Gonbo Rangjon. Ride to the cliff-hanging Phuktal Monastery.
